My Question Is:
Are there any good wordpress theme generators out there? All I need is to pick the colors, placement of the index links and use my own banner.

Yes! It’s called Artisteer. I bought it about a year ago and I’ve completely stopped making my own HTML sites. Everything I do is now in WordPress. It will do exactly what you want. They’ve got a free 30-day download so you can try it out before you buy it. You can assign colors, fonts, layouts, your own header images and so much, much more. Oh, and Artisteer recently added vertical menus in the sidebar and flash effects on the header.
I use Artisteer for all of my sites. By using a hosting service that gives you unlimited domain hosting and a powerful theme generation tool like Artisteer, you can put up unlimited sites, generate headers, ect……I don’t use anything else!
